Why does Jason think this course would be of value to you as a watercolour painter ?

Many modern effects in watercolour painting are created using additional materials to brush and paint. For example, marks can be created by scoring, scraped or bruising the paper when the watercolour paint is wet or dry with a blade. Gaining experience with a variety of novel painting tools enables you to recognise how artists have created artworks from the past and present, and helps you think in new ways how to construct your paintings. But, most of all, it’s fun to do.

Learn how to use a wide range of tools and materials including:

Salt

Bubble wrap

Cling film

Baking paper

Silver foil
