Why does Jason think this course would be of value to you ?
Oil paints and acrylics are well suited to portait painting. These mediums allow you to change your work, tuning it over and over again, until you are satisfied with the results. Creating a likeness is very satisfying.
Developing a style of your own makes your work easily recognisable and more satisfying to produce. To formulate a style most artists spend time exploring the approaches of others to find out what feels right and looks best for them. This course offers an opportunity to try new approaches to portait painting, exploring others stylistic ideas.
So, whether you are looking for a beginners course, or new ideas to help you formulate your style, this course will help you become a more proficient painter.
